Delt Interest Form
Rush: Another word for recruitment, Rush is simply a meet and greet process where you get to know more about Delt, its activities and programs, and most importantly its members. There’s never any commitment during the Rush process, and if you and the fraternity decide it’s a good match both you and the Rush Chairmen will sign a formal “Bid Card”. At UNL the bulk of Fraternity Rush takes place over the summer months. And while Delt has a very large Summer Rush program, we also operate a year long Open Rush process where qualified candidates can rush and pledge at any time.
Pledging: In Delt, pledging is an 8 week temporary trial period of membership during which time you will learn more about the history and fundamental principles of the fraternity, as well as how the chapter operates as an organization both at the local and national levels. The pledge period is also a chance to take advantage of all the academic, social, leadership, and service opportunities the chapter has to offer, and to see what Delt can do for you. But most importantly it’s about getting to know the guys in the house and people all across campus.
Initiation: Initiation is symbolic ceremony that commemorates the start of your full membership into Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Since our founding in 1858 over 150,000 men world-wide have been selected to full membership and initiated into Delt.
